The New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation is sponsoring the presentation of Carlos & Maureen Urrego performing Argentine Tango and providing free dance instructions at the Arts District of New Orleans’ Annual Jammin’ on Julia on Saturday, May 4, 2019, starting at 6:00 and ending at 11:00 p.m. (music stops by 10:30 pm).

Taking place in New Orleans’ historic Warehouse Arts District, ADNO’s “Jammin’ on Julia” will have bands (including the Tango performance) taking the stage on the 400 & 500 blocks of Julia Street and in several of the galleries. Food and refreshments from local vendors will be available on both blocks. Coinciding with the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, this year’s Jammin’ on Julia is the perfect stop after the Fest or before heading out for the night.
