IVÁN ACOSTA, Author, Playwright, Filmmaker, and Theatre Director presents The film “El Súper” and his book “With a Cuban Song in the Heart / Con Una Canción Cubana en el Corazón”. The New Orleans Hispanic Heritage Foundation (NOHHF) and Tulane University’s Cuban and Caribbean Studies Institute co-sponsored renowned Cuban-American author Iván Acosta in a series of events to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month (September 25th to 27th of 2018) in New Orleans. Mr. Acosta, a filmmaker, playwright and theatre director, is originally from Santiago, Cuba and lives in New York City. As part of Mr. Acosta visit to New Orleans, the NOHHF sponsored a lecture at St Mary’s Dominican High School on September 25, 2018 to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month for the Foundation.
